Re: TXT-vs- RXV
Thanks BCM! Looks like a Winter 2017-2018 project. To much going on in the summer time and want zero cart down time. :) Oh and yes my cart, mechanically, is stock. Also, how do I tweak the governor?

Re: TXT-vs- RXV
Take off the engine rear cover (the black panel behind the seat) - on top of the rear end (transaxle) you will see a rod with both an 8mm and a 10mm nut on the end (faces the rear of the cart) - this is your governor adjustment. If it has never been touched, there will be a small wire through the hole at the end of the threaded rod, if it's there just clip it off and remove it. Then, take the smaller nut and loosen it so You can turn the larger one, once you can do that, tighten the larger nut down (the farther You go, the more top speed it'll allow). Most people just crank it all the way down and if that's too fast then back it off, BTW. Once that's done, tighten the small nut against the big one to lock it in place, and Your governor has been adjusted, enjoy the extra 6-7mph !!!!
