What kind of cart is this controller on? Are you bench programming(out of cart) or programming in-cart? The green LED MUST be illuminated BEFORE opening ControllerPRO.

Okay and I assume your computer is plugged in to the controller via a USB-Serial cable?

Do you have the latest build of ControllerPRO (build 39)? This is what I did to program my DCX.

1. Plug in controller to computer.
2. Turn key switch to ON position
3. Put direction selector to FWD position.
4. Verify solid green light is ON.
5. Open ControllerPRO
6. Make modifications and so on...

If none of this helps I am sure one of the experts will chime in.

What windows are you running on your computer? You need Windows XP and the Driver for the cable from computer to the controller needs to be installed. ( after connecting did you click refresh?) Go to Altrax website and read up. http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_ControllerPro.html
