No continuous running

Hi guys
I bought this cart 4 weeks ago unseen
Unused for a yr

I have done filters. Oil. New battery
SpRk plug. And running everyday 4 weeks
Until now. It would not stop running
Not realizing electri was turning gen. pushing engine no spark

Now won't run unless I jump solenoid hold Down ft pedal
And it does run. Can vary eng speed but Let up on gaS pedal and it stops and will not start by normal way

Replaced solenoid. Waiting for new ignition switch
Rev limitor is disconnected. Tried contact cleaner on
Micro switches. Maybe voltage regulator?

I had to read this four times....best guess is one of your mirco switches are bad. I would also check all grounds and make sure you have no loose connections.

I had a problem with an intermitent start. I found a bad limit switch. I jumped out the suspect switch to prove the problem. Replaced the switch problem gone.
