Windshield Mounting
Hi all, new i40L owner here. I tried searching but didn't find anything. Does anyone have any experience with attaching a suction cup mount to the windshield? Will it stay attached on the bumps of a golf course? I am contemplating getting a backup camera, but need a way to mount the screen.
Thanks! |

Re: Windshield Mounting
I bolted my backup/car play screen to the dash just behind the speedo because I was worried about the suction cup not working too.

Re: Windshield Mounting
I think I am going to go that route as well. Seems like a safer option.

Re: Windshield Mounting
I went with this guy:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BW8VZDLX...roduct_details Easy install, wired in a cig lighter that is hidden under the dash, and made one of the tee holders on the driver side larger to run the wires up. Mounted on dash area between wheel and icon screen. Only downside I have to re-run the camera mounting because I mounted it to lower bumper but now will be covered by golf bag holder, so need to mount to roof. |
