Default New Lift But

Just installed new Jakes 6" spindle lift. Install of parts was easy and fast. the only issue was at the end i started to grease the zerks and one popped out it looked like it was pressed in, is that the way they are put in. Can i redrill and tap for screwed zerk?

Yes. I had the same thing happen to me awhile back
Your local auto parts or hardware should have the zirk and tap. You may have to drill out the hole too.... just make sure you have the recommended size drill bit.

Yep I was having trouble getting the grease to go into the one I had trouble with. So I pushed harder on the grease gun and folded the zirk right over ??? I imagine you had the same problem...

No this one would not take grease and stuck in the grease coupler, had to unscrew grease coupler to get it off (hand type grease gun but pressure built up tring to get it to take grease) Grease guns develop 3,000 to 6,000 even the handd types.

i would think that for the $ you spent on a jakes lift that you wouldn't have zirc fittings falling out. have you talked to them about this??

No, i haven't i am running a poll on General BS to see if this is a real problem or just a once in a while issue. Every once in a while is not ok but you can understand that it will happen.
