Battery usage
I found this in on of Dr. bob thread (not) quoted be him .. Is this true Trojan says battery life will be reduced if recharged when only 5% or so of capacity has been used. Best to recharge after at least 10% of capacity has been used.. so with that begin said I thought it best to recharge after every time the cart is parked, i was told to recharge so the battery can restore the energy and break down some things in the battery that shorten there life span.. bc i take very short trip to mail box or in field to feed birds and wildlife then back in shed.. thanks in advance

Re: Battery usage
Use a meter and reference the State of Charge table. Never discharge below 50%.

Re: Battery usage
Lead acid batteries do not have a memory.
They are best charged whenever you have 15 minutes or more run time on them. |
