Default Precedent - routing wires to roof for radio

Did a search and came up with nothing. Anybody have suggestions on best method for routing power from batt #4 to roof for hooking up a stereo in an overhead console? And where is the best place to ground to to eliminate as much interference as possible?

I would drill a hole in the front windsheild post and run the wires up through it to the roof. Remove the dash panel and run your wires from there. By no means do you run a wire to ground. In an electric cart all electrical hookups are thorough the battery powered system that is negative and positive. I don't have a drawing but there should be a 12 volt power source in the dash wiring.

Behind the dash is fine by me. Anyone have any tips on a 12v hot wire I can use behind the dash? I have the light kit installed using the factory wiring. Is there a wire in that harness I can use?

I'm confused on the ground thing. Are you saying I simply need 1 hot 12v wire going up to the radio and that's it?

It's a good thought... but a bad idea... By hooking a stereo up to one battery you're gonna really do some serious battery damage. You need a 48 to 12 Volt converter to give your stereo an even draw across the whole battery pack. If you draw from one battery you'll have a constant drain on it due to the memory function of the stereo receiver.
