Re: Turning off the backup buzzer
I just wanted to make sure that this was the same buzzer. When I load my cart into my truck I often let the cart roll back to get lined up or to make another run at it. That is when the buzzer starts, I know I'm rolling backwards, I don't need a buzzer to tell me that.

Not a bad idea. The cart will always be at the farm and never on the streets though. I unplugged both wires and taped them off. I removed the buzzer, but will save it in case I want to do what you suggested. Thanks! |

Re: Turning off the backup buzzer
Could you install a warning light in the dash that comes on when your in reverse using the wires to the buzzer?

Re: Turning off the backup buzzer
Yes.. on a gas car it would plug right into the existing buzzer wires... on an electric car you'd have to run a 12V power source through a separate relay (Switched by the buzzer wires) to the light... unless you can find a 48Volt light... The orange battery light would work fine as it's capable of handling 48 Volts.... A little "Goof Off" on a rag will wipe the battery symbol right off of one.
