I just wanted to make sure that this was the same buzzer. When I load my cart into my truck I often let the cart roll back to get lined up or to make another run at it. That is when the buzzer starts, I know I'm rolling backwards, I don't need a buzzer to tell me that.

Before anyone warns me about turning it off for safety purposes etc it IS what I want to do. This is a hunting cart and the purpose of this build is to have an electric vehicle to get in and out of the woods as scent free and silent as possible. I don't need some stupid buzzer ruining that for what I am using the buggy for.

thanks!
ok how about this for a suggestion then. Install a toggle switch in the passenger side glove box. cut one of the wires going to the buzzer and attach the 2 cut ends to the toggle switch. Then when you are going hunting, you turn the switch off and for the other 11 months out of the year you leave the switch on...... you get the safety of having the buzzer when you are cruising the neighborhood, but the silence you require when taking the cart hunting........

Not a bad idea. The cart will always be at the farm and never on the streets though. I unplugged both wires and taped them off. I removed the buzzer, but will save it in case I want to do what you suggested.

Thanks!

Yes.. on a gas car it would plug right into the existing buzzer wires... on an electric car you'd have to run a 12V power source through a separate relay (Switched by the buzzer wires) to the light... unless you can find a 48Volt light... The orange battery light would work fine as it's capable of handling 48 Volts.... A little "Goof Off" on a rag will wipe the battery symbol right off of one.
