Default OBC ver. 2.05 Any probs with this version?

Gonna be replacing batteries on my 2004 Precedent soon but I read about there being problems with certain versions of the obc. I have version 2.05. Is there a newer version and should I upgrade if there is? It seems to be working fine now. Batteries charge for about 5-6 hours then cut off. Seems to be a normal charge cycle as far as watching the meter on the charger.

Any version under 2.5 is not good... might work but might give trouble down the road. Version 3.0 is fine and version 4.0 is even better. Ask TahoeDawg for the latest on these versions, etc... he knows more then most!

You'll experience slightly better charging due to increased charge times with anything newer than a 2.05. But personally, I wouldn't be too concerned with it as an individual owner. I've got a 2.05 in my own personal cart. The 4.0 is the newest style for your application.
