Question AC Breaker tripping on Power Drive Charger

I have a 2003 CC, 48 volt with Power Drive Charger. When I got back from month vacation and took the car out it ran out of power on the 14th hole. When I plugged the charge back in it seemed to operate as normal but then I discovered the AC breaker was tripped when I went back to check. I reset and after some time it trips again. Toggle switch is on tow, on/off key switch on dash is off and batteries have water. Anything a non-mechanical user can check or do before I schlep it off to the repair shop?

Make sure if ran on an exstention cord it is heavy duty. Unplug the cart before resetting the breaker. The breaker can get weak over time. You may try another outlet that is on another breaker. (20) amp breaker

if u checked what jlmurphy mentioned above, you can try opening the breaker and cleaning it. carbon buildup adds resistance which causes it to heat and trip. i used a brass brush on a dremel followed by a rinse w/denatured alcohol.

Also, a bad rectifier(diode tree) will cause the breaker to trip! Look at the powerdrive stickey at the top and it showes you step by step how to check it with a DMM. Really easy to do for anybody.
