1988 CC Fairway Villager questions
I just bought what I think is a 1988 CC Fairway Villager today.
Serial Number is D8847 161499 The car has Fairway Villager stickers on each side. Cart has sat in a guys garage for over 5 years. I unloaded it into my shop tonight and put it on to charge. It has 6 6v batteries. I did not take a look to see if it had the v-glide or 5 solenoids. I will look at that first thing in the morning. Here are my questions. I see a lot of parts for the DS model listed for year 1988. Is my cart a DS? What makes it a Fairway Villager? Styling changes? I saw a body kit I like but it says it is only for a DS model 1990 and up but from what I can tell via pictures it looks exactly like my cart. I'm going to dig into the cart in the morning. Appreciate any insight. |
