Default '02 DS IQ modifications?

I have a 48 volt 2002 DS IQ that I was thinking of lifting for turkey hunting. Is this cart OK for this? I know I have heard that series carts are the best, but this cart has a lot of speed/torque as is.
Thanks

Its perfect for what you want to do,thats what I have and all I did extra was put on 4 gauge cables. It did good before I did but it helped a little.

What size lift and tires did you go with?

my cart is a 2003cc ds iq. and i went super sport 6" lift . very is to put on.
for tires i went with 22x11x12. i am putting on new cables also. i still have to algin the front end and change the rear gear lube, to royal purple 10w-30.

I put a Alltrax 500amp controller and Plum Quicks Bandit in my cart. I love the torque that it produces now. It spins up hills now that it hardly would go up before. But if you want to do one thing at a time, I would start with the controller.
