Powerdrive 2 Charger Popping Reset Switch????
I recently plug in my powerdrive 2 charger and it seems to want to trip the reset or breaker button on the front of the charger. Does anyone have any idea why it would do this or how to remedy this issue. I can not charge my cart because it keeps tripping the breaker/reset button.

welcome, it could be a bad breaker or a battery issue are batteries and cables ok? are cables clean and tight? has anyone messed with cart before this started to happen?.............................

I just had new batteries put in, but it has been driven and charged a few times with no problem. It just all of the sudden pops the breaker on the charger when I plug it in now.

have you tried plugging it in to a different outlet ? the breakers do get weak and will pop...........................

Rectifier is bad in my opinion. It is the little square silver box inside the cover that has 4 wires going to it. There is not much that can go wrong with the power drive 2 chargers.

Can you try it on another cart, or get a charger and try it on your cart?
Does it trip instantly? You can test the transformer which I have found not bad that often. |

have never had a rectifier go bad in 7 ....8 years? that dosn,t mean it can,t on the other hand have seen plenty of breakers crap themselves.............

Just had the exact same thing happen to me....it`s the rectifier ...13bucks on e-bay!
...it`s a common problem from what i`ve read. |
