Default Bearing retainer, maybe I’m okay?

Hey, so I was tearing down my 05 precedent today and for whatever reason felt like popping off the speed sensor to check out the magnet to see if it looked okay. I didn’t realize that it was only clipped in and started to unscrew the two screws next to it. I don’t think I removed them completely and I screwed them both back down and they tightened up. I am thinking I dodged a bullet here. But, just in case, what symptoms would I need to look out for? I’ve seen a few threads in this but only people that lost the retainer and had to go through the process to get it bolted back down.

Cart has a GE motor, which I’m not sure is a good or bad thing.

I think that your good as long as they screwed back down....The bearing retainer screws are 7/8 inches long and would just keep turning if they were out of the retainer...You would have to pull the motor and remove the end cap to get them back in otherwise...Nothing wrong with a GE motor..They are comparable to the ADC motor that CC uses now and are both interchangable...

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if maybe the case was threaded too. It didn’t make sense that it would be, but I’ve never torn into a motor so wanted an opinion.

Buckmanmike- I accidentally unscrewed the bearing retainer screws on my ge motor. But when I realized they were not part of the speed sensor I tightened them back down. Was concerned about whether or not If my bearing retainer was now just chilling in the motor not attached. But the screws tightened down so hopefully all is good.
