Default Cart jerky, wont go slow!

ok, so i adjusted the govenor on my cart, but i hate how its on or off, and no inbetween. is there a way to get my cart going fast, and still be able to idle?

Sounds as though you over did something. I was very careful when doing mine and moved in small increments. Glad I did, my cart will smoothly transition from stopped to a crawl and then on to top speed effortlessly. Everything needs to be synchronised to achieve this as explained in the sticky atop this page. If you just rush in and adjust everything to the max you will encounter all manner of strange cart behaviour. Baxter basics, set everything back and just take your time; adjust the black box rod to kick in just past brake release, if you zip tied the governor spring, leave the tie loose and adjust gradually to achieve the best results. Not all carts are the same, before anything else make sure that the carburettor etc are in tip top shape. As the old saying goes, "you can't make a silk purse from a pigs ear".
