92 club car kf82 need some help
maybe springbok or someone can help me here i have a 92 club car with the kf82 fz340 engine. 1st it has no compression at all it was sort stuck and i got it freed up but that's the least of my problems as i really don't care to get it running. the real problem is that i want to know if the coil and ignitor are worth salvaging from it it does not have a keyswitch and i wanted to just jumper what i needed to to get spark and where to put voltage to get it to work i dont even think that the solenoid is working i just cannot think at this time , normally i would figure this out myself but my brain is fried with this heat

Yes! Save all the coils! They're nearly impossible to find and every month it seems someone on this site needs them. Ignition coil as well as the exciting coil assembly.
You're sure it's a '92? I've never heard of a '92 with a KF82 motor, they were all switched to the FE motors starting in '92. |

Re: 92 club car kf82 need some help
i know that's why i wanted to check them before i parted out the engine, over the past year i have sent out two and needed to buy one set i just needed to find out if they worked or not. i know that 92 was a change over year and was shocked to find it was a 92 , i figured i was buying an 85 to 91 cart when i saw the kf82 in there. anyways it will be getting a v twin eventually if i can get some work done around her. im stuck on my ezgo workhorse and now i have two txts and two club car projects also and we just found a marathon looking for a new home that will be here later today. i may just have to sell some of them as it will end up taking me a few years to get all these carts done but who knows, i enjoy them so its just a matter of figuring out which carts i want to do first.
