What Oil Filter are you using for Express S4
I saw that Walmart’s SuperTECH has a compatible oil filter for our Express S4’s
Anyone use them? Made in USA not like the unknown filters that come in those overpriced tune up kits. Thoughts? |

Does it have the Kawasaki engine? I use the Kawasaki filter on mine.

The Kawasaki filter is $15.00+ and the ones that come in the tune up kit are some unknown brands. I did some research and saw some videos / photos of the ST4967 filter cut open and it looks solid. I picked up the Walmart Supertech ST4967 ($2.97) and installed it. I’ll cut it open next season to see how it held up but I expect it will be just fine. |

I know it's more expensive, but it's cheap insurance to use the factory filter.

Re: What Oil Filter are you using for Express S4
I pretty much exclusively used SuperTECH oil filters and oil on my former Honda Odyssey and it went 260k miles and the engine was still solid. The transmission is what gave me issues. When I did a valve adjustment at 200k the valve cover and rockers was still shiny and no sludge or discoloration.
I am a fan of SuperTECH, it was the first time I saw they carry the Kawasaki replacement oil filter. I went to a local ezgo dealer and asked about their tune up kit and it wasn’t a Kawasaki filter and they wanted $75 for the kit. (Air Filter, Oil Filter, Gas Filter and Spark Plug). I can source all that for under $20 and now even more inexpensive with this SuperTECH oil filter. It’s a great value. IMO! |

ST4967 - good to know, I just changed my oil last month......used a "compatible" filter with no name brand, I wished I had known this earlier!

I have been using the AC Delco PF 1233 since I purchased a new 2017 Valor. Works great and you can pick up anywhere.
