Default Battery management 2020 onward

My battery last about 25 miles max and want to get more out of it. Would econo mode make a difference? I have been told yes and no that the change would be minimal and not worth changing, I have also been told to change the lights to only come on when driving. Any input would be appreciated. I use the cart for my main transportation and golfing.

How you drive will make some difference in range but lights make almost no difference - especially if they are LED. In my experience, 25 miles is decent range for most carts. I charge mine after about 20-25 miles of normal golfing / driving. I have an accurate odometer so I know how far I drive on a charge. I can play four rounds of golf if I don't do anything else with the cart.

If your goal is to increase the range, then yes both would help.

You should also use aggressive Regen brake so you don't waste your kinetic energy as heat on the brake pads.

Try it for a while and see if the economy mode works for your driving style.

Thank you for your responses, Is their a way to change the mode or is that something only a dealer can do?

I think a dealer will have to use a proprietary programmer to do that for you, but it should take probably less than a minute or two once they plug it into your cart.

Hope you get it dialed in to your satisfaction.
