Whats next!!!
I have been working on a cart that was given to me that I plan on using around the hunting club. The batteries are Trojan 02's and will not hold a charge for long. I recently added a lift and bigger tires and found out how much strain it puts on batteries and the cables (becoming almost too hot to touch after a ride around the block). I figured next thing I would do is replace batteries and upgrade cables to 4 gauge. After that I don't know where to go. Should I upgrade controllers and go to 48 volts. Do I have to upgrade the solenoid. I know it is going to be expensive any way I do it, but just wondering if anyone has suggestions on what they would do next. Budget is a concern, but whats new!!! I guess what I want to do is get the biggest bang for my buck! Here is some pics...

Re: Whats next!!!
Having new batteries and all cables (even ones going to motor) changed to 4ga, will cut down on the heat if not stop them from heating up. The new carts form EZGO come with 4ga cables and 22 inch tires with 300a controller.

Re: Whats next!!!
That is good to know. I will do the batteries and the cables next and see if that gives me enough power to push me around the club. If not then I might start the upgrade process. Thanks!!!
