Default I got a 1981 CC are parts same as 1982.83,84

I have been looking around and reading a lot but I still get lost when looking at parts. Most listings say for 82, 83 or 84 and up.I have an 1981. Is there a major difference in the basic design for these years? And when it says DS is that a general model/body code for these years?
I would think electrical stuff could change like 36 and 48 volt but what about frame or suspension and the like?
some adds have general info but nothing saying exact fit.
I haven’t found a basic history about Club Cars and model types yet but was hoping to get some help here.
Thanks

Aaron, I think so. 1981 was still the Caroche Car. Major differences between then and the DS carts of about 82 & up. Do you have hydraulic brakes? Is your F&R switch mounted north and south as opposed to east and west...... does it look like this body style?

My 81 is not a caroche. it looks like it has the basic CC body. I do know the front end parts with the exception of the steering box, is the same. I haven't measured my cart to another year to see if there is any differences bodywise. I gotta believe the bodies are the same. Why would they change the body from the caroche for one year, and then go to a style very similar for good?
I love my cart. I'm constantly get compliments, and people cant believe it's 30 years old. still flies baby!!
