1206 4 bar controller
I've got a bad 1206 four bar controller, but can only find 3 bar controllers as a replacement. If I am correct I believe I can get a three bar and tie A2 lead that was on the controller to the C lead of the reverse switch. Can someone confirm?

Re: 1206 4 bar controller
The 2 leads that went to the A2 terminal on the old controller now just splice together.... that is a simple as I can put it

Same problem but...
My 4 post 1206 on my 1996 EZGO cart only has one power cable going to the A2 controller, which is consistent with the EZGO cart manual.
What two cables are you saying to splice? |

yours has the wire going from the A2 on the controller to the "C" post of the F&R, then another wire going from the "C" post of the F&R to the A2 on the motor. In your case you would simply remove the one between the F&R and the controller. |

Re: 1206 4 bar controller
Good news (at least for me).....wasn't a controller issue after all. The 4-pin connector plug between the controller and pedal box was opening the signals (black and white) from the pedal box. I bypassed the connector and all is well.
