If you are going with Alltrax you will need an AXE model either factory set for ITS throttle input or reprogrammed by the end user. There are several other makes of 500ish amp controllers to choose from, make sure you get one that is compatible with the Ezgo ITS throttle program.

I was looking at the axe 4855, Is it Plug and go or do I also have to program it myself? Motor and 48v upgrade soon to be ,but just not yet. Its still 36v but I want to be able to use it until My motor comes in. Thats when I will be also doing the 48v upgrade.

Each motor takes a different map, for the most part. Alltrax default settings are good for most users and PQ series motors. Hope this helps
