Read the note inthat ad about the lower watages and possible resistors, that's what i would be worried about. Have you even tried the lights yet? I just put the kit on mine and was surprised at how bright they were!

Think I am going to try them.Got the lights on today.I was thinking of LED for less amperage draw.I wouldn't think you would have to put any resisters on these just for a cart.

Please post your results. Also, anyway you can do a real comparison, so we will know if it's worth it. I'm still trying to decide if I want a converter or not. I just put new batts in and the #4 batt was the worse one when they finally crapped out. I only use lights occasionally Maybe I will rotate the batts when I rotate tires.

I'm thinking that you need a ballast for each of those bulbs but I could be wrong. Your results will be interesting.
I installed a regular light kit on my 07 Precedent and it is very bright. It also has the LED tail lights.

You shouldn't need anything special for those bulbs to work on your cart... but I bet you'll be a little disappointed with their light output. As far as watts savings... they will be tremendous. A similar household 120 volt bulb at a "LIKE" 55 watt regular bulb output takes around 2.5 watts. I have them, (120 volt,) outside on my patio lanterns, 8 of them combined only take 20 watts.

I do hope that they give you the light you need and are equal or greater then the factory lights

Let us know

Thanks for taking the time to post back your results That is just what I was looking for to keep my load under 10 amps. They appear bright enough for my needs, thanks again!
