Had the cat's fur shown any signs of being wet, I wouldn't have suspected the photo had been manipulated. Wherever that kitty is, it definitely wants to be elsewhere.

It's the receiving antenna for a little radio system I used to work on.
To give you an idea of the size, the round object in the middle is a building that was almost 100 feet in diameter.
I worked on the electronics contained in that building (appropriately called the Roundhouse) and the Operations building down the road about half a mile.

Technically, it is the AN/FLR-9V that was located at RAF Chicksands, UK. Built in 1962, dismantled in 1997. Here is a satellite image of what the site looks like now.

Compared to that maze of interconnecting circuits and some other stuff I've worked on, reading GC and battery charger schematics and wiring diagrams are relatively easy for me.
