2003 MCOR problem?
I have 2003 IQ DS cart. The mcor controller #1021011-01. The problem I have is when I push down on the accelerator it does make the cart move till about half way down. I still get 100% acceleration. I just don't like having to push the pedal that far before engaging. I have also taken up any slop in the linkage also to see if that helps, but I couldn't tell any difference. Could this be in my mcor controller? If so, is there away to check it or test it?

Re: 2003 MCOR problem?
The MCOR has 2 functions. A pedal micro switch that tells the controller that it's go time, lol, and a pedal potentiometer. Pedal up is 0% throttle and pedal fully depressed is 100% throttle. Dealers and techs will have a reader that can scan all functions and you can check MCOR percentage. The MCOR is infamous for failing and the percentage values being incorrect. Best way to fix it? Replace the MCOR.
