New controller quickly draining batteries
I just had a new controller installed on my '96 EZ-GO TXT and my batteries are draining much faster than they should be. Could the two be related or just a coincidence?

If you are getting better performance with your new controller, your batteries will drain faster, or the battery pack decided to go belly up and the controller was replaced, or your charger went bad at same time your controller went bad. What ampacity controller is installed? (Stock is 275A-300A) What is your battery pack Voltage 6 hours after charger cuts off automatically? (Should be 38.2V) What are the individual battery voltages 6 hours after charger cuts off automatically? (Should be 6.37V) How long does a full charge last? (Should be upwards of two hours WOT unless you've got tall tires and/or hilly terrain) |

Re: New controller quickly draining batteries
If it's a higher amp controler, you can use more elect , thus giving you more power/speed, and use the battery power faster.
