My cart has the pig tail on the motor, the toggle switch for F/R but the original speed controller has been replaced with a DCX300. So im not sure if it is a Regen 1 or 2 or an IQ.

According to your Serial number it is not an IQ, so I would not use an IQ controller. Why not just get another DCX300 if you liked it.

The motor and controller burned up when I got the cart. I was trying to replace it as cheap I possible. Thought I could get a factory take off cheaper than the upgraded style. Just didnt know there was so many different models.

Honestly I am not quite sure exactly what controller was in your cart from the factory, but it is definetely a series controller... not IQ
