Re: 2001 iq ?
Cart is not an IQ just a Regen II. Will the magnet or speedy link work on it?

Re: 2001 iq ?
Go look at your motor. Does it have a pigtail? If yes then yes (have to make sure it will accept magnet, look on ebay, plenty of info there), if not then no.

Re: 2001 iq ?
To eliminate Regenerative features on this vehicle just unplug the speed sensor. Replacing the magnet with a high speed version will do nothing more than unplugging it completely. The Regen2 system is much different than the IQ. If the IQ system detects no readings from the speed sensor it goes into limp mode. That's why a modified magnet is required. Regen2 doesn't work that way. Unplug the sensor, and all regen features are gone. As far as the series motor goes, thats a definite NO. Even though your car has disabled regen braking it's still a SepEx car and needs a SepEx motor. You need to change the motor and controller if you're going with a series setup.

Re: 2001 iq ?
Other than changing the motor for a beefier one, is there anyway to speed up a regen II cart?. Besides tires and hi speed gears too.
