They got it, most likely spring bushings. Super cheap at a spring shop. Poly bushings definitely the way to go. The only other thing it could be is debris getting caught in the gap between the rim and spring and rubbing. Your cart looks pretty clean so I would suspect that isn't the case.

You had me curious so I went out to have a quick look and I have no idea why but there is just a small circle impression kind of like a stamp but I agree it did look like a nail.

Good call, I'll definitely be checking that out. When I do the 6" lift I'll also replace the bushings. Thanks.
