charger questioin
On a 2005 elect club cart is it possibble for the obc to work but not stay on long enough to charge the batteries.another question if you jump the realy in charger does the obc have anyting to do with the charge rate my batteries are 2 yrs old but cannot get to charge higher then 57 volts with charger on

obc controls the amount of charge the batteries get
if you bypass the ocb you can force feed the batteries to a higher voltage have you tried a obc reset ? |

Have not did the reset i have a charger with the relay inside the charger jumped so i can bring complety dead batteries up to where the charger will kick in from the obc.what i need to know is with the relay jumped does the obc still control at what voltage the charger amps go down to o and volts no higher then 57

with the relay "jumped" the OBC does not interact with the charger
it will not shut off and will charge batteries til unplugged or batteries blow up .. well not blow up but it will cook them |

Thanks what i needed to know charged for 10 hrs after i ran a discharge test after about 20 mins of charge time the amps were 0.voltage 57 guess the 2 year old 12 volt interstae batteries are bad.the discharge test time was 27.0 mins.
