I was planning on keeping everything pretty much stock so yes. Only thing I was thinking about changing was going to hd leafs in the back in case I decide
To put a rear seat on for my kids. Plus I think it would be too expensive
To change everything up.

Ok you've seen my thread, good! I was going to tell you to check it out. There should be some helpful info in there somewhere. I almost couldn't believe it when she fired right up, I was thinking no way I'm not going to need to replace the motor and all 5 solenoids to get this thing running... Nope she's solid as a rock and running strong! Good luck on your restoration!

So here is the front end tear down. discovered that every bushing, leaf spring, bolt, tire rods and shocks need to be replaced. the steering is wobbly. Goind to track down the parts and try to piece it together. Also, i have to try and figure out how the leaf sping connects to the frame because i dont think it was right. It wasnt even connected. Other than that i'm having a blast thus far. The motor is with a guy that does electrical motors at my work and he's going to test and freshin it up.

I also have to figure if I go with an HD front spring in front and in the back will i need longer shocks. I believe in the back I will, but am unsure about the front if HD is even needed there. I plan on in the future putting a seat in the rear and that is why I'm going to go with them back there.

I would consider the 'Medium duty' rear springs. They have a nice ride without giving up strength.

I have not seen medium in my search but will continue. Do you think I will need longer shock or will stock shock work? Thanks for the info!

My stock shocks worked fine with the new leaves.
