Default Starting fresh with a ezgo cart, help me choose the best speed upgrades.

I bought a 95 ezgo series cart for $750. I had the intention to flip it to upgrade my gas club car. But it's in really good shape. I think it's been garaged its entire life. New seats, nice paint, it just needs batteries from sitting too long.

I may keep it and do some speed upgrades. Theres so many options that it gets confusing. I've searched but everything gives different results. I want to keep stock height, maybe 12" wheels on street tires

So far the options I'm considering,

1.Replace batteries and keep 36v, add plum quick motor for mild upgrade.

2.replace batt. With 6, 8v for 48 volt upgrade. Replace controller and solenoid, and use the 48v Stanley charger from SAMS club to keep cost down. Keep stock motor.

3.do the same as #2 but go with cheaper SAMs club batteries and try to add a motor upgrade as well.

4. Sell it for profit because gas is better!!!

What's the best option of those? Or any other options to consider?

Option 5

* Nine 8 volt batteries
* Alltrax 72450
* Albright sw 202 reversing contactor
* 72 volt DPI charger

That should get you 30mph and get there quick!

Where do you have your nine batteries? Two in the bag well and one extra under drivers side? Thanks
