Is it common for the charger to get warm pretty fast?

So the cart turns the charger on by itself and turns it off when full? Just want to make sure in clear.

Default Charger question

My charger isn't making any sounds when plugged into the outlet and cart.

When my charger is plugged into the outlet should we be able to test the positive and negative in the 3 prong part and tell it has power?

No, the charger has to sense voltage from the battery pack through the OBC, which closes a relay inside the charger turning it on. If the pack voltage is too low, or the OBC is bad the charger will not power up. Or could be a bad relay in the charger.

Make sure the single red charging wire is connected from the back of the charger plug receptacle on the cart and the battery pack.

Take the main neg. cable off the battery pack and let it sit for 10 min...then re-install...this will reset the OBC...also check the fuse in the charge receptacle with your multimeter set for continuity to be sure its good and finally make sure all wiring at the back of the charge receptacle is in good condition and not loose or full of corrosion.😎
