Run a wire from the negative in your charge receptacle to the main negative on you battery pack. Or jump the relay inside your charger.

But I strongly don’t recommend this- the charger will boil your batteries and you will be buying a new pack.

A good DPI charger is cheaper than a new battery pack. I know from experience!

Default Re: Powerdrive 2 and OBC Bypass

You need to run both the Negative wire and the "sense" wire from the charger receptacle directly to the pack negative battery post.

You also need to connect the Blue and White wires together on the OBC 6-pin connector (see stickies for more info).

Keep in mind that you would not be "charging" the batteries at all, just quickly "surface charging" the battery plates.

The OBC will start to regulate/reduce the current once the batteries reach a much lower voltage and allow the charge to slowly build up to the cutoff voltage.

If You just run it unregulated, the plates will quickly reach 64v but not be fully charged.

If the OBC failed, a smarter charger like the DPI is the best option.
