Default 2014 48v EZGO TXT - DCS or TXT48

I just bought my first golf cart. It's an 2014 EZGO TXT. I have read all of the posts that relate to my question and cna't find a straight forward answer, unless I have overlooked it. If so, accept my apologies. I was curious on what control box I had. I believe I have narrowed it down to either a DCS or a TXT48. I have found mixed readings throughout the Internet. It does not have a 5 nor a 10 pin plug. The harness does attached to the top/bottom and not the front. Below is the information I have pulled from the cart.

2014 EZGO TXT 48v (6x8v batteries)
Model: TXT Fleet, Elec
Serial: 3083694
F-N-R: Under Seat (not dash)

Curtis D.C. Motor Controller
Model: 1206HB-5201

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. I have also attached photos that my help as well.

That’s got to be a TXT48. DCS carts haven’t been made in years.

I was thinking that, but wasn't sure.
Thank you.

Those 1206HB-5201 controllers are programmable for some decent performance.

That's exactly where I was heading with my research. I know when I purchased this cart, the dealer said he bumped the speed up. He didn't tell me any speeds, though. I did clock it at 16 mph. It has 23" tires. I just do not know what the stock speed was or how fast it can be set at.

Is there any place I could go to find out all of the performance options available?

Can changes be done by me or a dealer only?

Do you have to have the 1313 programmer to make changes?

I think you have to buy a programmer.

Looks like it may be cheaper to just replace the controller. Unless all controllers require a programmer.

I did not intend to. LOL

I've gathered some experience in programming the 1206HB-5201 using Development mode, and we can get some pretty impressive performance increases and tune the drive feel quite well. The same master hopups like the RXV, which can be detuned with an OEM handset via the normal parameters. One major difference though... the RXV beats the TXT48 in capabilities via programming, but the TXT48 is no slouch. It wakes up quite well. We can't up the amperage, but we can restore it to 100% of its ratings, especially after a passkey is used to enable Freedom mode. Oh, and larger tires, like 23", hampers torque more on the TXT48 than it does on the RXV. We can also enable Freedom mode without a passkey, like we can with the RXV.
