Market for almost new Trojan batteries?
Is there a market for almost new Trojan batteries?
I just purchased my first cart late last month and it came with 6 brand new T-875 batteries; 'D0' stamped date (and I confirmed with Trojan Tech Support that these are 2020 built not 2010). With my tire size and with the speed upgrade I can do 22 MPH but the batteries just don't last nearly long enough (using a voltage meter to 50%) for what I would ideally want. I understand these batteries have a break-in period and that they don't perform as well when it's cold but unless those two things can realistically double my range I'm looking for more (i.e. lithium). Additionally, I know gas can give me way more range but want to stay electric. Where would be the best place to sell my current batteries? Any idea what they might be worth? They would likely have 30-40 cycles on them when I end up selling them. |
