RXV Newbie Key Switch Help
Hi,
I searched for the answer here but could not find any threads so if this was already explained I apologize. I have an 08+ RXV and I'm wiring for a stereo and can't find a wiring diagram for the key switch. I need to wire to an acc switch. The key switch has 4 wires, green, white, red and yellow. Obviously two are for F and R, one is for on and one is for off. Can someone tell me the color for the on and if that is the best wire to connect to? |

Don't mess with that key switch unless your wanting to buy another controller. With these RXV it's a good idea not to splice the wiring.

Good advice. Where would you suggest I wire the ACC switch so it turns on when the cart is on?

I would go with a DC - DC converter.

I don't need to step down the voltage, just tie into a hot that is only hot when the key is on.

No such thing. Not at 12v anyway. Would be easy if your car stereo were 48v.
