Series upgrade question
I bought kit #3 from Scottyb. Everything makes sense, getting it all done except for some of the hardware.
I think I have all this figured out but wanted to check. The large ring connectors are for the resistor. The small ones for the diode, red on the stripe end for pos. I know where the fuse goes. What are the smaller bolt and the round head bolt for? I would think the fuse connection needs to be tight and I don't know how to get any torque on the round head bolt.* Can anybody that has done this already explain it? |

Re: Series upgrade question
That's likely an "error bolt" that managed to skip the step of hex formation, I have seen similar things, like a bolt with no threads.
And the receipt with bank card info on it may not be the best place for your picture taking. |

Re: Series upgrade question
I wondered about that, being something that fell through the cracks. Makes sense.
And yep thanks for pointing that out, didn't notice the receipt. I blame the heat. 😐 |
