Default 2005 TXT HD Leaf Spring squeak

I replaced stock leaf springs with HD springs and new bushings. They are super squeaky. Greased the sleeves. I can hold the top spring (pointing towards the front of the cart) and feel vibration. Bolts are all tight. Are there torque specs on those? Can they be over tightened? Do the U bolts have a torque spec as well?

as far as your questions, I don't know of any specs for those...as I have replaced all of my springs as well. but what I would try in your situation would be to use some silicone spray on the leaves. sure couldn't hurt.

Look in the stickies for manual
There are torque specs for those bolts.
I use never seize on all the u bolts along with bushing bolts that mount springs.

Over torquing bolts that go thru bushings can cause them to not pivot as spring moves up and down.

Also make sure you do final torque on bolts with cart setting on it’s own wheight
Not with wheels jacked up off the ground with no load on springs.😊
