Default Old cart caught on fire need different cart which one?

Well I had a 1996 EZ-Go TXT that I converted from 36v to 48v with Scotty's help.
Did a full make over and all was fine until last night. Caught on fire and a total lost.

I use this at a lake property . Any suggestion on a good people mover the can handle a good grade on a hill. I have an old Club cart with the 36v coil resistor set. Feel that we cost too much to make it to be able to go up the hill.
Hope to find something used $4000 area

An RXV is usually the best bang for the buck, 2013 to 2018 is best. Lots of torque for the money.

How large of tire can I go with stock controller on a 2016 RXV. Looking at 12" wheels 20" tall tires

20.5" in height for a stock controller.

Is there any main differences in the 2013-2018 RXV's I notice some come equipped with head lights. Is the powertrain all the same?

Pretty much the same, with some updates in the newer ones. The 2019 and newer are less desirable due to software changes in the controller.

TXT48 would be my choice. We have his and hers at the ranch.

To be honest at this point I do not know. It is at our lake home and I have not been there since. Was driving it heard a pop and cart stopped. Very shorting after that seen smoke under the seat then flames.
It appears to have been an electrical short. From pictures hard to tell not much left.
