Default Installed Alltrax XCT 48500 cart now goes slow.

Hello all, I hate this being my first post, however, I’m extremely stuck.

I recently purchased a 2015 TXT 48v. Cart was stock for the most part. It would run 12-14mph on the stock motor controller. I upgraded the controller, solenoid and wires to the D&D Solenoid and alltrax 48500.

My buddy has the exact same year and model cart with the same upgrade. We essentially mirrored the install to his. The only difference I saw, was a negative wire on the stock solenoid ran to a negative post. Since his didn’t have that, we opted to remove.

Other than that, we wired everything up, got the green light on the controller but it goes approx 5 mph, if that. The cart goes forward and reverse just fine.

One of the observations I’ve seen is that when I coast, in neutral, down my drive way, I feel like there’s resistance within the cart. It doesn’t coast as much as I think it should.

I have since turned the vehicle in tow/maintenance and Incase it’s something I may have missed and to prevent further damage.

Desperate and need some suggestions.

If there is some way to watch the controller's LED while driving cart, it is most likely flashing an error code.

Or, you can connect a laptop and watch the monitor screen in Toolkit.
