Default Plum Quick Bandit VS Admiral MOT-B1

Made the upgrade to 48V along with SR48500 and 6in lift and 23in tires. Which motor would be better for an upgrade to replace my 2007 Ezgo TXT series cart.

Bandit is a refreshed stock 2.5 hp motor.
The admiral is an purpose built 8 hp golf cart motor.

Hi Scotty i was looking at the specs and i am not sure how the bandit can say 25mph estimated and also 25% low end torque increase but the Admiral only shows 14-18mph. Any idea what i could expect to see as far as improvements with the Admiral motor?

Another way to ask would be what would be the best motor if i want to increase speed? I already have the torque with the controller.

I went with the plumquick barracuda and I can hit 34 mph on 25" tires

With an admiral and sr48400 I was around 30mph on 25” tires in my club car DS. Too fast and scary for me at those speeds... but it would spin those tires.

Really don’t think you can go wrong either way
