Default Charging/Maintaining 12V Batteries

I have recently purchased a '08 Club Car 48V Golf Cart for transportation in an RV Camp Resort.

It came with a charger, but I was wondering if I could use my 12248 BatteryMinder to charge and maintain my 4-12V Batteries when the CC is not in use. (during the week).

I'm assuming the 4-12V batteries are wired in series to obtain the 48V.
The 12248 claims to have the ability to charge up to 6 batteries at a time.
Instead of using the "charger" that came w/the CC, could I use the 12248 to charge and maintain the batteries during down time?
And if so, how would I hook up the 12248 to the batteries ?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks !!!

Welcome

My answer to you is no, it will not work for what you want it for, to charge your 4 --12 V batteries wired in series, 48 V in your golf cart !---They have to be wired in parallel for it to work

12248 BatteryMinder

Charges and maintains up to 6 batteries at a time (parallel connected) Built-in sulfation tester Short circuit protection Recovers deeply discharged batteries Rejects bad batteries
