this golf cart has a 52 volt charge before starting to use. after about 1/2 mile it starts to lose its power and it will soon not be able to go any farther. i then check the batteries, it still has a 50+ reading. please tell me what problem i may have.

One bad battery may be dropping out under load

Have you load tested the batteries? You can have 50 volts without aload on the batteries ,but as soon as you pull any power from them they drop below 48v and gives you no power.
