Difference in chargers ?

Is there a difference in the cc chargers. I'm talking about the older large size one and the newer small ones. If you had a choice which would you choose?

it would depend on the cart. If I had a DS cart, I would prefer the older large charger because I can bypass the OBC and install an automatic timer board in the charger case. On the newer Carts, the OBC is more integrated into the system and harder to bypass so on those I would have to use the smaller chargers.
