yep They all work the same but the they are triggered by the gas peddle...... it's barbaric and not simple so best to find out if it is working before I have to try to explain it. here's what I want you to do;
cart on jacks remove seat bottom key on in gear voltmeter connected to 2 small terminals of the master solenoid have assistant depress the gas peddle = 36v present at solenoid activation terminals? |

There is about 35 volts to the master solenoid.

35 volts is enough to trigger the activation so the solenoid is bad and must be replaced. 35volts is not a good reading for the battery pack. You have a battery problem. running the cart at reduced voltage will result in heat build up in the motor, the cables, the F&R switch etc. your voltage readings should be between 36.5 and 38.5 before operating the cart......
