No - Ezgo TXT key switch powered via the F&R micro switch.
Note the key switch reading may be as much as .5v less than true pack reading due to resistance in key switch and wiring. Use you handheld DVM to verify this and compensate in your reading.


As for bar graph meters, they are not good. They reset to 100% after each charge cycle regardless of the battery pack's ability to retain the charge. This can lead to some very inaccurate readings directing user to deeply discharge the pack resulting in shortening the battery pack's useful life.

I have my yard cart hooked up that way. THe meter goes off in neutral, comes on in forward or reverse. There is another way to do it off the key. I'm not sure which meter you have, but the stock one sucks. The little cheap $12 chinese LED meters are great, and they work with .1V 99% of the time. Take some pictures and post them up I'll point out what you can change. Or just send me a PM with them
