There is more than one way to skin this cat but take a look at this cable diagram. It is originally an Alltrax AXE diagram. This diagram is a proven winner with this control in this cart. You might want to give it a try.

Thank you for info I'll probably move the fuse to the battery pack. Still no go.

I connected fuse to battery pack. Your right that makes sense...
I purchased a copy of the "Technitians's Repair and Service Manual". I hope I don't break something.... I have been going through the ESC ( non-PDS) troubleshooting diagram. "Key on, direction selector in F, pedal depressed, voltage between B- and controller pin 4....reference voltage "NO"... It says " correct wiring problem in control harness (Red Wire)". The wire on pin 4 is orange?

The orange wire brings (+) to pin 4 when in reverse. This activates 1/2 speed reverse. The cart will run F&R without this wire attached.

Apples and Oranges.

What wires attach to which pin is different for the stock controller in the manual and the AXE controller in the cart.

Use the attached schematic to troubleshoot.

The left column below is the pin numbers, the center column is the wire colors and the right column is the respective pin numbers of an AXE controller.
1- Blk = 2
2- Wht = 3
3- Org = 4
4- Red = 1

So when the troubleshooting tree says Pin-4, you have to check Pin-1 on the controller.

Double check your High Current wire going from your F\R switch that you indicate going from the switch from "B" to "S1". The above wiring diagram shows that "B" from the F\R switch should be going to "S2" on the motor.....not "S1" as your wiring tape shows.

But again, I don't know if your tape is wrong....or it's actually wired wrong.

Thank you for the information. I'm getting reference voltage. With the right pin. I will continue to use the troubleshooting guide to see if I can get my cart going.

Thank you I did have it connected wrong. Although that would make it go reverse if you had the selector on forward and vice versa for forward. My cart is still not moving.

When I look at the wiring diagram that JohnnieB has posted, Pin #1 on the controller is the pin that is closest to the LED light. That should be wired with the RED wire, followed with #2 using the BLACK wire, then #3 using the White wire, and #4 with the ORANGE wire. It's difficult to tell from your picture....but I believe that's how you have your wire's in order.

Now, if the "color order" is correct, then the next step may be to check that these wires are in fact connected to where they are suppose to be connected. Follow the wiring diagram to see if yours agrees with the diagram.
