Rear axle problem
I just purchased a 04 pds and after getting it running I noticed the passenger rear tire was wobbly. I jacked it up and took the rim off to inspect. The previous owner had welded the drum to the axle shaft where the castle nut goes and its not balanced. I wand to replace this the right way and was wondering the best route to go. I was hoping to cut the weld where the drum is welded to the shaft, remove the drum then just replace the axle shaft on the passenger side. Am I missing any other parts I'll need during this replacement? The new axle shaft comes with a bearing pressed on it already so I'm hoping just to slide it in the housing.
