Correct hook up

When my new solenoid directions say battery main + cable I want to be sure there talking about the positive cable from the battery and not the cable coming from the B+ on the controller. Is this correct?

actually.....the answer is YES. One side goes from the + BATTERY (first battery of your pack) to the Solenoid. the other goes from the B+ of the controller to the other side of the solenoid.
